When I started this journey, I was 180+ pounds and really had no idea how I got there. What I did know was that something needed to change. My best friend contacted Megan for help with her nutrition and to help her lose weight after she had a baby. I thought I should give it a try too.
Nutrition success … finally!
Megan has helped me understand nutrition, how my metabolism works, and has assisted with my nutrition as I trained for a half marathon. Megan shows patience when I need it. I have completely changed my mindset surrounding food and what it means to be healthy. After working with Megan for about 6 months, I can honestly say slow and steady wins the race! I can’t thank Megan enough for her knowledge and guidance throughout this process.
I’ve battled with weight issues my entire adult life and despite working out and eating sensibly, I was still overweight and had a big belly. I always blamed it on my genes. In 2016, I began doing CrossFit and I saw huge improvements in my fitness level, but my body didn’t change.
In 2018, I began working with Megan as my macros coach. I’ll admit that I was skeptical of the macros counting “diet”, but I was going to give it an honest effort. I started seeing results almost immediately.
Continued nutrition success
Megan continues to increase my caloric intake (including tons of carbs), and I continuously lose weight. I have never in my life eaten so much, and I continue to lose weight. It has been so easy to stick to the “diet”. For the first time in my entire life, I have abs! At 45 years old!?! Not only did I lose a lot of weight, but my performance in the gym has improved, and I feel better overall in my life.
